Capturing My Daughter Faith's Kindergarten Photos: A Day to Remember

As a photographer, I am often behind the lens, capturing the beautiful moments and milestones of others. However, nothing compares to the joy and privilege of photographing my own daughter, Faith, especially as she embarks on her kindergarten journey.

I decided to capture Faith's photos at South Valley Park in Littleton, Colorado, during golden hour to capture these precious memories. The Colorado views did not disappoint; the vibrant hues of the sky and the majestic Red Rocks made for a stunning backdrop. We were also able to find a patch of sunflowers that made the session even more beautiful!

South Valley Park holds a special place in my heart not only for its breathtaking scenery but also for its easy trails that allow for a relaxed and enjoyable photo session. Faith is full of energy and excitement; she was the star of the day.

During her session my two boys were able to capture some amazing behind the scenes vides as well!

Her radiant personality shone through in every frame, reminding me once again why she is the absolute light of my life. She did some walking photos and dress twirls that really made her personality shine. Faith loves doing photoshoots with me, and her enthusiasm was infectious as we wandered through the park.

I found Faith's dress on Amazon, a perfect choice that complemented the natural setting beautifully. To add a personal touch, I prepared a chalkboard with all her favorite things and the year she will graduate high school. It was a fun way to capture this moment in time and look forward to the future.

During a thrifting adventure, I also stumbled upon an adorable vintage school desk that made the perfect prop for our session. It added a nostalgic touch that tied everything together seamlessly.

This session will always hold a special place in my heart as a reminder of how quickly time flies. Each photo is a keepsake of Faith's early years, capturing her spirit and the love we share.
